  • 1973 Rainford Metals formed Sub-contract Sheet Metal.

  • 1981 Rainford Racks formed Electronic Enclosures & Electro-Mechanical assemblies.

  • 1985 Rainford EMC Systems Division formed Specialised EMC enclosures & Test systems.

  • 1987 Rainford Group Ltd formed Base Station Design and Manufacture.

  • 1992 Rainford Group obtained the GPT Primary Products site in Coventry for expansion of Base Station & Racks build.

  • 1994 Rainford Group became a Public Limited Company.

  • 1996 Acquired by Reltec Inc.

  • 1999 Acquired by Marconi.

  • 1999 Rainford EMC Systems formed as a separate company.

  • 2005 Rainford Group Ltd reformed incorporating Rainford Solutions & Rainford EMC Systems.
